Asian Adoptees of Canada is excited to partner with the Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival (@reelasian) for the shorts programme presentation of EMERGENCE curated by Reel Asian.

Asian Adoptees of Canada is excited to partner with the Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival (@reelasian) for the shorts programme presentation of EMERGENCE curated by Reel Asian.

We're especially pleased to support two of the featured shorts which are directed by Asian adoptees. You're invited to join us in watching the screenings of "ABBY," directed by Chinese-Canadian adoptee, Fanny Lord-Bourcier, and "Take Me Home," directed by Korean-American adoptee, Liz Sargent.

In honour of November as National Adoption Awareness Month, the films will be followed by a dinner meetup for those interested in discussing the two shorts and connecting with fellow adoptees.

** FREE Ticket Giveaway **: We are giving away four free tickets to EMERGENCE to our members who RSVP to president@asianadoptees.ca by October 30th. The two lucky winners and their guest will be entered in a draw! Winners will be contacted by November 1st.

** Important Info **: When RSVPing, please indicate in your email whether you will be attending the shorts programme, the dinner afterwards, or both. Also, please be sure to purchase your ticket in advance as seating is limited.
